Hey fellow clients. It’s been so long since I’ve seen your beautiful faces. I hope you are all safe and well, and I’m looking forward to seeing you after all of this. But first, there have been a few guideline changes that we all must follow in order to stop the spread of this disastrous disease. These changes are a part of every new massage practice in the state of California, whether it be a mobile practice or in their own space. I hope these don’t stop us from seeing each other, and these are placed in accordance with the CDC, WHO, CAMTC, ABMP, and AMTA.
When booking a massage, you must allow extra time for me to properly sanitize and prepare for massage.
Make sure when you let me into your home, you have done your best to keep a clean environment like vacuuming and sanitizing areas where we will be working.
Make sure when you greet me, you have your mask on.
Before and after each session, I must spray and sanitize massage table and props.
Before and after massage sessions, you must sanitize your hands with the sanitizer I have provided, or you may use your own.
We both must wear a mask and/or face cover during entirety of massage.
If you’re not able to wear a mask, you must refrain from touching your face and talk minimally, and I may ask you to use more hand sanitizer before I massage your hands and arms.
When scheduling a massage, we will ask that you take your temperature to log in your file.
Before each session, we must take your temperature.
If you have a high temperature, we will not be able to proceed with the massage and you will be charged half of the session price.
We ask that you provide your own linens if you are able, if you are not able, we will bring one set of linens to leave at your home.
We will also be encouraging payment online through our website via Goawayknots.com, or a link I will send via text that you can pay using Credit or Debit Card. However cash is still an acceptable form of payment. Also please note that prices have increased, to cover the extra costs related to Covid-19.
This has been a very stressful time for many, and I want to make this process as smooth as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. If you forget, I will kindly remind you, but we will need just a little more patience through this transition period.
I can’t wait to see you guys, and thank you so much for all your support and patience.

1. WHAT TYPE OF MASSAGE WOULD YOU LIKE?
Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.
Swedish massage focuses on overall relaxation, circulation, and physical and mental wellness. Includes gliding, kneading, tapping, stretching, and cross-friction strokes. Improve circulation, the flow of lymphatic fluid (a key component of the immune system), and relaxes muscles overall. This is a “soothe” massage, not a “pressure” massage.
Thai massage is traditionally performed on a padded mat as the massage therapist guides you through partner yoga poses and manipulates your body into stretches. Some traditional massage techniques, such as acupressure, compression and joint mobilization, are also used, but no lotions or oils are applied and you remain fully clothed for the session.
During aromatherapy massage, the skin is warmed and the blood drawn to the surface, increasing circulation and encouraging the elimination of toxins from the body, speeding up recovery time from any illness or injury. The oils are absorbed through the skin and carried round the body, allowing their healing effects to permeate to all the major body organs.
